STUDY AND VOTING SESSION - If a member of the public wishes to speak to one of the following voting items, please complete and return exhibit BEDH-E, Request for Public Participation in Governing Board Meeting to Sarah Torres, Administrative Assistant to the Governing Board prior to the study and voting session of the agenda. This document can also be found under the Governing Board tab on the PUSD website: https://www.prescottschools.com.
For items with the potential to have many speakers, the overall speaking time may be adjusted by the Governing Board. Speakers will be called to speak in the order in which they signed up, first come, first served. Requests to speak that are emailed will also be first come, first served. Email requests can be sent to sarah.torres@prescottschools.com at any time prior to the study and voting session of the agenda.

4. It is recommended that the Governing Board approve allowing some 4th, 7th, and 8th grade students identified on an individual basis to attend a special education class at Granite Mountain Upper Elementary School, as presented.
RELEVANT INFORMATION: Although Granite Mountain Upper Elementary School primarily serves grades 5 and 6, a self-contained, special education program at Granite Mountain Upper Elementary School serves students in grades 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. According to the Arizona Department of Education, Granite Mountain Upper Elementary School can only have 5th and 6th grade students enrolled. Until Granite Mountain Upper Elementary School is updated in Arizona's Education Organization System, Prescott Unified School District will not receive funding for the 4th, 7th, and 8th grade students enrolled at Granite Mountain Upper Elementary School. Until Prescott High School is updated in Arizona's Education Organization System, Prescott Unified School District will not receive funding for the 8th grade students enrolled at Prescott High School. Until Lincoln Elementary School is updated in Arizona's Education Organization System, Prescott Unified School District will not receive funding for the 5th grade students enrolled at Lincoln Elementary School.
