II. Approve Riverview Elementary Construction Bids (Action Requested)
Description:
According to the referendum bid approval process presented in June 2022, whenever aggregate project bids are beyond 10% over budget, the Board will become involved in awarding the work scope bids. Due to a variety of reasons including additional utility work, relocating the additional classrooms to better align with existing building, need for new HVAC and plumbing, and more work being completed during winter months; the Riverview project bids have come in over budget. Board approval is being requested to award contractor bids.
