Bob Tess, Chief Finance and Business Services Officer, will present a budget reconciliation plan aligned with District Shared Key Interests that will be applied in the development of the 2022-23 budget.

We will be providing you with a list of all teacher contracts for renewal for the 2022-23 school year at the May 9, 2022 school board meeting. We are attaching the tentative list of these teacher contracts; however, the final list for the next meeting may shift some based on additional changes that occur prior to the May 9th meeting.

Jennifer Rauscher will provide an update on opportunities and action steps related to the College & Career Study conducted with the WI Institute for Public Policy and Service.

While the Wausau School District offers wonderful opportunities for students and is a great place to work, we are always looking to improve.  We are proposing to form two school board subcommittees; one elementary committee and one secondary committee, to generate ideas to address challenges related to student programming, staffing, and raising student achievement.
