Description:
Administration requests the Board of Education consider the following resolution authorizing a referendum to exceed the revenue limit by $4,000,000 annually on a recurring basis starting with the 2021-2022 school year.

Administration requests the Board of Education consider the following resolution authorizing a bond referendum for $148,800,000

VII. Resolution Providing for a Referendum Election on the Questions of the Approval of a Resolution Authorizing the School District Budget to Exceed Revenue Limit by $4,000,000 for Recurring Purposes and an Initial Resolution Authorizing the Issuance of General Obligation Bonds in an Amount Not to Exceed $148,800,000 (Action Requested)
Description:
Administration requests the Board of Education consider the following resolution to ask voters to consider two referendum questions on April 6, 2021. One question to exceed the revenue limit by $4,000,000 beginning with the 2021-2022 school year on a recurring basis to for expenses related to maintaining educational programs and staffing, providing full pupil services teams at each elementary school, and other safety, operational, and maintenance expenses and another question for issuing bonds for the purpose of capital improvements in an amount not to exceed $148,800,000 .
