VIII. Teacher Retirement Window (Action Requested)
Presenter:
Tabatha Gundrum
Description:
Due to the uncertainty of the upcoming year, we have received three requests for late retirements that we have on tonight's agenda. We are aware that some area districts are reopening the window for early retirements of teachers. Including the retirements presented to you tonight, we have 20 teacher retirements from 2019-20. There are an additional 53 teachers that would be eligible for retirement if they were interested. We would like to support any additional retirements up to 10 total at this point. Considering tonight's actions, we believe we could support up to 7 additional retirements if staff are interested in that option at this time.
