Description:
Recommendation: Approve the agenda for the August 2, 2024 Governing Board meeting as presented.

IV.A. Building Renewal Grant Authorization Approval- Dr. Koerperich
Description:
The School Facility Board utilizes an authorization approval process for building renewal grants that includes four phases: assessment, design, procurement and construction. Each phase requires terms and conditions to be approved by the Governing Board. HUSD #3 is requesting Governing Board authorization to allow the Governing Board President to sign and approve all building renewal grants on behalf of the Governing Board due to timelines for building renewal grants occurring throughout the month and delays may hinder the progress of the building renewal grant.
Recommendation: Discussion and consideration to authorize the Governing Board President to approve building renewal grants on behalf of the Governing Board for each phase of the building renewal grant applications. |

IV.B. Building Renewal Grant Approvals- Dr. Koerperich
Description:
The Holbrook School District is requesting Governing Board approval of the following building renewal grants for the procurement and design stages: BRG 00107 HJHS Quad Design Procurement, BRG 003329 HHS Drainage Procurement, BRG 00328 IWES HVAC Design, BRG 004793 Park Elementary HVAC Procurement and BRG 00331 HHS Weatherization Procurement as presented and authorize the Board President to sign the terms and conditions of the building renewal grants.

Description:
The Holbrook School District is requesting an update to the Accounts Payable job description as presented.
Recommendation: Discussion and consideration to approve the update to the Accounts Payable job description as presented. |

IV.D. Payroll Job Description Update- Dr. Koerperich
Description:
The Holbrook School District is requesting Governing Board approval of an updated Payroll job description as presented.
Recommendation: Discussion and consideration to approve the updated Payroll job description as presented. |

IV.E. Operational Cross Training Extra Duty Job Description- Dr. Koerperich
Description:
The Holbrook School District is requesting Governing Board approval of an Operational Cross Training Extra Duty job description as presented. The extra duty will be an hourly increase for classified staff that cross trains or assume other job duties when there is a vacant position. The job description is included in the back-up materials.

Description:
The Holbrook School District is requesting an update to the Classified Salary Placement Schedule as presented.

IV.G. Teacher Contract Increase- Dr. Koerperich
Description:
The Holbrook School District is requesting to revise Mr. Ty Hatch's SY 24-25 teaching contract to include a 3% increase from his last contract prior to taking a military leave of absence as presented.
Recommendation: Discussion and consideration to approve Ty Hatch's revised SY 24-25 contract including the 3% annual raise as presented. |

V. Executive Session
Description:
The Governing Board may enter into executive session pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.03. The Governing Board may vote to enter into executive session on any item on this agenda for which an executive session is allowable.
