Mrs. Donna Callaghan and Mrs. Annette Ott, teachers at Blair High School, will introduce the MathCount students who recently won the Valley Invitational.

7.2.1. Blair Graduating Class of 1999 Tree Donation
Rationale:
Kiley Huber, on behalf of the 1999 Blair High School graduating class, would like to dedicate a tree to be planted at Arbor Park for the celebration of their 20-year class reunion. The class would like to plant the tree at 10:00am on June 8th during the Gate Way to the West Days. They would place a plaque with the tree showing the dedication from the Class of 1999.

7.2.2. Pacific Life Foundation Grant
Rationale:
The Pacific Life Foundation has awarded Blair High School the 3T's of Education grant for $3,000 to purchase 13 Chrome Books for students to check out before school, during school, and after school in order to complete projects in every classrrom.

7.3. Consideration of Communications

7.3.1. PassageWay Church
Rationale:
PassageWay Church has submitted an Application for Facility Usage Request for Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 12:00pm - 9:00pm.
PassageWay Church is hosting an event, planned for the Youth Sports Complex and in conjunction with the Gateway to the West Days, for the entire community and that would include family actives, brief sport clinics by members of the Cornhusker football and volleyball programs, and concert. For planning purposes, they would like to list a contingency location in the event of inclement weather, and due to the size and location, they are requesting Otte Blair Middle School gym. Since this would be a Sunday event, the Board of Education must take action on the request. There would be a charged for supervisory fees. |

7.6. April 2019 Surplus Sale
Rationale:
The April 2019 Surplus Sale (for various old or obsolete equipment and vehicles) was scheduled to be held on April 1-5, 2019. Sealed bids for the items were opened on Friday, April 5th at 10:00am. Mr. Haith, Mr. Shearer, and Mrs. Jorgensen, reviewed the bids and are bringing the winning bids to the Board for approval. The Board does reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
