IX.a. Personnel Update
Description:
For Tina Kehoe and Nancy Pilkington: Tina has spent the last 25 years as an outstanding educator for the students of Grosse Ile. From 2001 through 2010 as a 1st grade teacher, then from 2010 through 2020 as a 2nd grade teacher and now finishing her career as a Literacy Coach. We are so lucky to call Tina ours - she is energetic, cares deeply for the students and staff, and has maintained her own love of learning for the entirety of her career. Nancy Pilkington has dedicated 27 years of exemplary service to education. She spent her first six years in Catholic schools, teaching kindergarten and middle school. Nancy has spent her last 21 years with Grosse Ile Township Schools, leaving a lasting impact on students, families, and colleagues alike. Throughout her career here, she has taught kindergarten, first, third, and fifth grades, bringing consistency, care, and instructional excellence to every classroom she entered. She concluded her career in kindergarten, where her heart truly shines, helping our youngest learners build strong academic and social foundations. Both Nancy and Tina's professionalism, kindness, and dedication have made them invaluable assets to our school community. Their influence will continue to be felt through the countless students they have inspired and the colleagues they have supported over the years. We are deeply grateful for their service and wish them a well-deserved, fulfilling retirement. |
