Amy Rhone, NDE was present to give updates from Special Education NDE. District and PRT Performant Reports will be populated for ILCD and PRTS in May. The NECounts and District Annual Determination Guide and Public Comment Form are merging together and currently open for Public Comment until May 12. Maintenance of Efforts Compliance submission closes on May 17th. Over 85% of schools have not uploaded as of this meeting. GOLD checkpoints are due on May 31st. GOLD trainings are being planned for July for new teachers and administration.

3.1.4. SRS Staff Report

The SRS team continue to work with our contractor X-Eqt on the SRS software update. The update modernizes the look and feel of the application, provides easier navigation and improves the consistency of controls and elements on the screens. The initial work is scheduled to be finished next week. We and X-Eqt have begun testing the updates. Heavy testing will continue from now until the planned release on the first week of July, 2023. As our internal testing progresses, we will reach out to users for their help testing the system in the ways they use it. Our team is working in the system and with users to prevent, find and correct ADVISER reporting errors, as much automatically, in preparation for the June reporting window.

Amy Rhone shared the NDE updates. The May/June NDE Talking Points are ready. The Coherence Project team held listening sessions with each ESU. There is a NeMTSS framework has created a question/answer document. There is a need for educators to work with the NSCAS for this summer's workshops. There will be team leaders training in June. Updates from the SEED team, Accountability and School Mental Health offices. Dr. Kim Snyder will be retiring on June 1, 2023. There will be a celebration for Kim on May 24, from 2-5 at the NDE Offices.
