Discussion:
Chad Dumas and Eileen Barks were present to give an overview on Learning Forward. Executive Leadership Programs - Leadership Development (Standards of Professional Learning), Change, and Personal Practice (Setting). Intensive program of about 30 hours to complete programs. (three full days, three half days and one day for wrap up) Important for PDO as whole recognize that there are standards for our work. |

Executive Director reviewed the NDE Strategic Vision and Direction. Goal 1.4 ties in ESUs and NDE. This was approved at the NDE Board meeting in December. He invites everyone to read the NDE plan. Russ Masco will be present at February Board meeting to review plan.

Rob Residori was present to give an update for Brightbytes. DataSense (Clever) a free tool to use. Clarity Module Suites: Early Insights, 21st Century Learning (surveys), and Public Transparency. They have a tool that can help show software tool usage and outcomes. The measure the return on learning (ROL). The can make recommendations on all their solutions. |

3.6. Statewide Communication Model

Discussion:
Russ Masco and Janine Theiler were available to discuss the communication model. How does this communication process become a two way process? How do we simplify the process? This process includes monthly talking points summary, burning questions noteworthy items, critical communications, and feedback survey responses. Future Ready/GEARS could be come a talking point of this document to continually update us. Committee would like this document to go to more than just the Administrators like Affiliate Chairs. Create a blog or something that people can communicate back and forth discussions. (ie: Slack) CCSI - Committee for the Coordination of Systemic Improvement - create a template for one plan for school improvement/simplifying the process/capacity building.
