Discussion:
Wade provided a report to the committee showing a plan for the future of SRS. Categories of this plan include Expansion, Interoperability, User Experience, Infrastructure, Data, Current Projects, the Development Process Proposal, Zend 1 and AAP. Stuart also provided some information to the committee. The committee discussed the strategic planning of these SRS projects.

Dan gave a report about the Mental Health Summit. Dan briefly discussed LB552. A link to the School Mental Health page was also provided. The committee watched a youtube video about the summit. Oct 19th - 21st there is a conference by Dr. Sharon Hoover and they would like a group of ESUs/Schools to attend. Dan indicated that they are considering expanding the conference to include other states. Dan suggests doing a survey to get a better idea of what ESUs/Schools need and exactly what the issues are. |

Gretna has joined SRS! Provided training for Administrators on August 23rd Provided training for all staff on Sept 5th Develop Import system to populate SRS from their SIMS SIS We have been providing New User and Update trainings at most ESUs throughout August (we have ESU#16 and #3 this week) Mike is busy wrapping up our ADVISER Interoperability project. Need to pass State Certification Need to add a few more user interface screens to tell users what is going on Mike was going to look into importing data from ADVISER as well Automatically generate student and parent records Goal is to have this done by end of October (after NSSRS report ends) New Releases were pushed live include: Login Screen, New Student Screen, Personnel Screen, Personnel Profile updates, District Profile Page, School Profile Page, Student Team Screen, Parent/Guardian Screen, Many bug fixes push live as well SRS Visioning Session Stuart Clark (Special Ed. Director at ESU#1) took the advisory board through a half day process of visualizing where we want SRS to go in the next 5 years. Categorized the results into 5 categories include Expansion, Interoperability, User Experience, Infrastructure, and Data Results are displayed below: Green text = Ideas for turning the concepts developed through our Visioning process into reality |
