Description:
You will participate in an on-line training session for BoardBook with a representative from IASB. You will receive an email from Mike Elder of IASB explaining how to access BoardBook and set up your account before Wednesday, September 7. As soon as you are trained you can determine how quickly you wish to transition to paperless agendas and materials.

V.A. Board Goal Setting
Description:
Your Board goals have been placed into an action template for our work. Generally speaking we will try to determine 3-5 action steps that the Board will do in order to complete its goals. If you wish for another type of template to be created that is fine too, but this can get our conversation started.

V.B. Negotiating Team Composition
Description:
We will have a brief discussion to finalize the Board’s response to Jeff Cooper who has requested to participate on the negotiations team.

VI.A. Collective negotiating matters between the District and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees.
Description:
Please review your copy of the negotiated agreement between the Board and GEEA. We will begin to identify topics of interest that the Board has in negotiations. This will be a beginning step and in no way a final discussion about our interests. Hopefully, you all have copies of the contract. If not you can download them from our website or call Maureen for a copy.

VI.B. The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the District, including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired.
Description:
I will provide Board members an update on our next steps regarding the College Street property. I will have quotes for your consideration related to new and updated appraisals.
