V.A. Minutes

V.A.1. Approve minutes from the 8.22.18 special, regular, and closed meetings.

V.B. Bills and Payroll

V.B.1. Approve payment of bills totaling $1,369,535.23

V.B.2. Confirm payment of the payroll for 8.31.18 in the amount of $1,032,416.26 and 9.14.18 in the amount of $979,571.13. Authorize the preparation and release of payroll dated 9.28.18 and 10.12.18. 

V.C. Approve Policies up for Adoption; 6:135 Accelerated Program.

V.D. Approve NuToys Contract for Pour in Place surface for Piper Playground at a cost of $38,700.00. The surface is being paid for through a grant from the Berwyn Health Department.

V.E. Approve out of state travel for Mariana Nicasio, Jodi Meyer, Diona Iacobazzi, Leah O’Donnell, and Beatriz Maldonado to attend La Cosecha Dual Language Conference on November 13-17 in New Mexico. The conference provides a unique opportunity to share best practices and resources while also learning about current theory and practice in the area of dual language. There is no cost to the district for this conference. 

V.F. Approve fy19 school fundraisers- Emerson PTA, Freedom VanGogh Photography, Heritage Me to We, Buddy Club Events, Hiawatha VanGogh Photography, Irving VanGogh Photography/Fun Packs, Komensky VanGogh Photography, Pershing VanGogh Photography, Piper VanGogh Photography. Fundraisers that may generate $1,000 require board approval.
