VI.A.1. Approve minutes from the 8.28.13 closed, special, public hearing and regular meetings.

VI.B. Bills and Payroll

VI.B.1. Approve payment of bills totaling $1,041,716.12.

VI.B.2. Confirm payment of the payroll for 8.30.13 in the amount of $907,382.29 and 9.13.13 in the amount of $933,415.48. Authorize preparation and release of payroll dated 9.27.13, 13 and 10.11.13.

VI.D. Approve School Board and Superintendent communication guidelines

VI.E. Approve recognition of schools.  This is a yearly approval for state compliance.

VI.F. Approve reciprocal reporting system agreement between the Berwyn Police Department.  This is an updated agreement for state compliance.

VI.G. Approve Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Youth Crossroads (YC).  This MOU will provide Freedom Middle School with school based counselors funded by and in collaboration with YC.

VI.H. Approve school fundraisers.  School fundraisers that generate over 1,000 must have approval by the Board.

VI.I. Adopt Resolution for Serious Safety Hazards.  This is a yearly approval that identifies serious safety hazards within the school boundaries and allows for transportation allowance for students who must cross the hazardous crossings.

VI.J. Approve fy14 IASB Membership and Conference.  This is an annual approval for the Illinois Association of School Board membership and conference participation.

VI.K. Approve Apple lease agreement. 

VI.L. Approve contract with Fanning Howey, d100 Architect of Record

VI.M. Approve fy14 budget

VI.N. Approve surplus property - District property no longer usable must be declared surplus before disposal or recycling.
