9.A. (JB) APPROVAL TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR MISCELLANEOUS PAINTING PROJECT
Description:
Staff requests the board's approval to advertise for bids for Miscellaneous Painting Project. The project generally consists of repainting the canopy structure at the Port of Gulfport West Security Gate, repainting the West Pier water tower, and repainting the canopy structures of Shed 16 on the West Pier.

9.B. (EL) AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) WITH MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY (MDEQ)
Description:
MSPA staff is seeking authorization to enter into a MOU with MDEQ for the completion of geotechnical engineering work in the Gulfport Channel. The purpose of the work is to assess the suitability of channel material for use in MDEQ's barrier island restoration projects, which in turn has the potential to benefit the MSPA's project to deepen and widen the channel. The work will be completed by consultants currently under contract with MDEQ for similar work and MSPA will reimburse MDEQ for costs associated with the work. The costs of the work are not to exceed $151,000.00.

9.C. (EL) APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 25-06 AUTHORIZATION FOR MSPA TO PURSUE PIDP GRANT FUNDING
Description:
MSPA staff seeks authorization to pursue grant funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation's Port Improvement Development Program. The proposed project makes various improvements to rail infrastructure including Terminal 5 and connecting the East and West Piers. Additionally, the project includes improvements to Terminal 4, including paving and cargo handling equipment to facilitate intermodal activity.

9.D. (EL) APPROVAL OF RESOULTION NO. 25-07 AUTHORIZATION TO EXPEND MATCHING FUNDS FOR PIDP GRANT FUNDING
Description:
MSPA staff seeks authorization to expend matching funds to complete the project proposed for PIDP grant funding. Additional matching funds for the project will be from the MSPA's Strategic Multimodal Infrastructure Funds grant it received from the Mississippi Department of Transportation and from Ports America, a subrecipient of the PIDP grant.
