MOTION: Moved_____ that the Board of Education waive the following legal holidays as required under Public Act 96-640: the Birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.; the Birthday of President Abraham Lincoln; the Birthday of Casimir Pulaski; Columbus Day; and, Veterans Day; in order to hold school, schedule teachers' institutes, conduct parent-teacher conferences, or conduct staff development (in-service) activities.
