II.A. Financial Reporting to the Committee
Description:
Amy will provide an update on YTD expenditures & revenues.

II.A.1. Update on Property Tax Revenues from Cook County
Description:
Amy will provide an update on Property Tax Collections to date. Don will also share an update on the Cook County Tax Coalition's advocacy work on behalf of county school districts.

II.A.2. EBC Preliminary Renewal Meeting - UPDATE
Discussion:
Following the January 28, 2026 Preliminary Renewal Meeting, Amy will provide an update. A discussion has been prepared, and the packet has been included for Committee review.

II.B. Discussion of Summer 2026 Work
Description:
Amy and Luis have prepared a preliminary Project Tracker that illustrates the upcoming projects being managed by the district this summer. Projected dollar amounts are estimates and projects will be prioritized based on funding. As available, proposals and renderings have been included for review.

Description:
We are excited to start the work at MacArthur. The timeline has been established as follows:

II.B.1.a. Gymnasium Flooring - Specialty Floors
Description:
Proposals for the repainting and refinishing have been attached along with a final rendering as designed by the Mac team.

Description:
The RFP for MacArthur Gymnasium Painting was issued and a site visit was conducted last week. Proposals are due Monday. Amy will be prepared to share pricing on Tuesday.

Description:
Proposals for two options for the replacement of the brown accordion wall on the stage are attached along with a rendering.

The MacArthur Main office will be re-finished with new furniture and paint. Proposals are attached for the design layout as selected by the Mac office team.

II.B.3. Low Voltage Cabling Work - Betsy Ross & Anne Sullivan Schools
Description:
As previously discussed with the Board, we will be continuing with our Low Voltage Network Cabling over the summer at Ross and Sullivan. Much of this work is eligible for rate reimbursement and has been solicited as such. The recommendation will be to award the contract to Greatline. Their proposal has been attached.

II.C. Legal Updates
Description:
Amy will provide updates on two current legal items/

II.C.1. Social Media Litigation - Update
Description:
Snapchat and TikTok have settled their cases in California State court. The Global litigation is now moving forward. Jury selection is now in process for cases involving Meta and YouTube. The Federal Court heard oral arguments on the motions for summary judgement for the first round of school district trials. The Court seemed skeptical to arguments for dismissal and will likely rule in the next month or two. If denied, the trial is anticipated to begin in the middle of June.

II.C.2. Patriots Park Update
Description:
Amy will provide an update on the preliminary usage agreement for Patriots Park and final items to be completed in the land swap.
