Description:
Attached is the memo recommending payment of the voucher lists for materials, supplies, and services paid since the last BOE meeting. In addition, the District payments for salaries and insurance benefits during the previous month are included for approval.

IX.A. Resolution providing for and requiring the submission of the proposition of increasing the District’s limiting rate to the voters of the District at the consolidated election to be held on April 4, 2023 - ACTION
Description:
The Board will next consider the adoption of a resolution providing for and requiring the submission of the proposition of increasing the District’s limiting rate to the voters of the District at the consolidated election to be held on April 4, 2023 for the purpose of installing security equipment and replacing windows, siding and doors at MacArthur Middle School, Anne Sullivan Elementary School, Betsy Ross Elementary School and Eisenhower Elementary School, expanding and renovating Eisenhower Elementary School for full day kindergarten and for other school purposes.
Mrs. Peters will now read the resolution by title.

Administration has prepared a brief overview of the annual student fees and discussed with the Finance Committee. At this time, the administration is not recommending an increase in fees for the 2023-24 school year.

Description:
Annually, the Board is asked to approve the payment of the premiums for property and liability as well as cyber liability insurance offered through the Suburban School Insurance Cooperative Program (SSCIP)

IX.G. Budget Resolution - Authorization of Individual to Prepare the FY2024 Budget -ACTION
Description:
The Board of Education is required to appoint an individual to prepare the budget in accordance with the legal requirements outlined in the Illinois School Code. Traditionally, the District has appointed the Assistant Superintendent for Finance & Operations to prepare the tentative and final budget for the 2024 fiscal year.

IX.H. Freedom of Information Act Response - INFORMATION
Description:
The District recently received a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act from SmartProcure, requesting purchase orders and vendor information. The Business Office provided the requested documentation in Excel format and complied with the request as required under the Freedom of Information Act.
