IV.B. APPROVE PAYMENT OF BILLS FOR AUGUST 2024

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Because of the many year-end accounting adjustments and entries that need to be made, the financial reports for August 2024 will be presented when the number accurately reflects fiscal year 2024-2025 activities. The listing of bills for payment is the last attachment to this agenda. RECOMMENDATION: The administration recommends the board approve the payment of bills for August 2024. |

VI.A. APPROVE 2024-2025 SCHOOL SITE GOALS AND ACTION PLANS

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Darcy Josephson will present the 2024-2025 school site improvement goals and action plans. These plans utilize assessment results from the 23-24 school year. The building goals have been reviewed by the Curriculum/Policy Committee. RECOMMENDATION: The administration recommends the board approve the 2024-2025 School Site Improvement Goals as presented. |
VI.B. APPROVE 2024 PAYABLE 2025 PRELIMINARY TAX LEVY

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Trevor Peterson will provide a summary of the 2024 Payable 2025 preliminary property tax levy information and answer questions regarding the levy proposal. The summary is an overview of the state levy document that involves many pages of data and computations. The 2024 Payable 2025 preliminary property tax levy limitation is a decrease of $81, 370.20 (or 0.44%) for a total levy limitation of $18,257,748.93. *Due to continual calculation changes, these figures are subject to change leading up to the board meeting. Further discussion will take place at the time of the meeting. RECOMMENDATION: The administration recommends the board approve the preliminary property tax levy for 2024 Payable 2025 at the maximum state allowable amount. |
VI.C. SCHEDULE SPECIAL MEETING TO CANVASS ELECTION RESULTS

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The school board is required to canvass election results between the third (3rd) and tenth (10th) day after the election. The administration recommends that the board schedule a special meeting on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 7:30 a.m. in the District Office Conference Room. RECOMMENDATION: The administration recommends the board approve the recommendation to hold the special board meeting to canvass election results as stated above. |
