Description:
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Rick Sansted will share with the board the "206 Points of Pride." The persons being recognized this month are: 11 DMS Math Team students participated in the Height of the Land Chapter Regional Competition. The team of Zack Frisell, Lucas Klimek, Levi Preston and Michael Zhang took first place and advanced to the State competition, where they finished 13th overall. In the individual competition, seven finished in the top 13 out of 85 students:
Jennie Engle, Robotics Head Coach, was selected to present the seminar "Rural Robotics" at the FIRST World’s Championship in Houston, Texas in April alongside Curtis Robertson, Robotics Head Coach from Upsala. The 6th Grade Math Masters Competition was held this month, with both team and individual events. Discovery Team 1, consisting of Brandt Montag, Kendall Bryce, PJ Vanderheiden, Alex Koetter and Channing Simon took first place in the team competition. In individual competition, the following students placed in the top 15 in each event:
