8.A. eRate Project
We needed to upgrade the switches in our existing infastructure. Our 2022 Cat. 2 E-Rate application request was to include up to 9 Cisco (or equivalent) 48-port switches with appropriate licensing and 3-year support contract as well as installation and configuration.
We did receive bids from 2 companies. I am seeking board approval for the quote from TechCheck for $46,593.27. E-Rate has approved reimbursement of $37,300.00 of this purchase!

           WHEREAS, school board member, Renee Benson, resigned from her position as school board member;

            NOW THERE BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of Independent School District No. 162, State of Minnesota, as follows:

            Pursuant to Minnesota Statute 123B.09, the School Board declares a vacancy and will determine a process to fill the vacancy by appointment.
