Description:  Teachers are an important influence on today's children. Their efforts not only make a difference at your school, but also help inspire students for a lifetime.

Description:  Updates on Distance Learning.

• In observation, students who did not perform well at school when we were face to face have retained the same behaviors.
• Most students are responding well, and we are empathetic to the changes and new challenges of distance learning.
• We have a team of paras who are calling home to students’ families each week. The information from these calls is directed to teachers, support staff, food service, tech help, and tutoring. This has been a great outreach to our families.
• We conduct two student support meetings with support services. These meetings create outreach opportunities, connections with families, and allows us to be on the same page with the student’s progress.
• Mental health for adults has been where a majority of my time has been spent. As the students struggle with these enormous changes, our adults do as well.  It is becoming a fair concern.
• We are looking at grading options...we still need to represent achievement of credit and skills, preserve the integrity or class rank and GPA, and consider fairness with the situation.
• Graduation we have surveyed the High School Seniors, of those that participated, it was 78.8% that selected postponing the graduation ceremony until the Governors orders allow it----a later date.... keep in mind, this is input only.  We have to obey the executive orders from the Governor for any option.
• IEPs and SPED have been working well with paperwork and guidance from BRIC. BRIC has done a lot of leg work to ensure we are compliant and service students to their IEPs and abilities.... great work SPED staff and BRIC.
• We will be collecting school materials the last week of school. We have devised an organized plan that will help us get our devices and materials back safely, and with some accuracy.

Overall, I believe the distance learning we are experiencing is going as well as to be expected. We are falling into a groove and doing good things. I believe we are ahead of many schools with student support services with distance learning.
 

Description:  The district is in need of a grounds mower.  Mower #2 is twenty four years old and is now beyond repair.  Quotes from:

Description:  Many of the schools I have spoken with are paying salaries in full.  They are asking that in addition to the initial preparation for the seasons , which the coaches all have completed - this would include: team organization, practice planning, staff meetings, equipment ordering, preseason inventory, setting up the batting cage, setting up track jump pits and in the case of softball and track - 1 week of team practices and for baseball - 1 week of arm conditioning.

In addition to completing these job duties, I have asked that our coaches maintain contact with their student athletes - this could include social media contact, email, phone calls, texting - to help support our students through this time.  I would also ask that our coaches document some time spent in completing professional development in the area of coaching and/or their particular sport activity.  In addition, I would ask that our coaches complete and end of season inventory and provide me the information necessary to order senior plaques for our student - athletes.  Lastly, I would ask that our coaches plan/prepare information for their returning student-athletes in the area of specific sport training and physical conditioning/training and prepare for possible summer activities/camps/clinics. I would contact each of the coaches and review their progress and completion of these expectations.

With these expectations completed, I would like to request that our coaches be paid in full for the following positions:
