Description:
This policy includes important information about the district's board meetings. At Regular Meetings and Agenda, verify that the following information is correctly reflected in the policy: the time for regular board meetings, the day of the week on which meetings are normally scheduled, and the deadlines for submitting items for inclusion on the agenda. In addition, please review the number of members required to call SPECIAL OR EMERGENCY MEETINGS.

10.B. BQ (Local), Planning and Decision-Making Process
Description:
This policy meets legal requirements for the board to adopt a policy establishing district and campus level planning and decision making processes and includes required classes of individuals who must serve on the committee. At least every two years, a district must evaluate the effectiveness of the district's decision-making and planning policies, procedures, and staff development activities related to district-and campus-level decision making and planning to ensure that they are effectively structured to positively impact student performance.
In your biennial evaluation, check that all BQ (Local) provisions are still accurate and that the policy, related procedures, and staff development activities are effectively structured to positively impact student performance. |
