5.1. The correct procedure for addressing the board during Public Comments is as follows: Each speaker should address the board from the podium microphone and state his or her name and address before speaking. All speakers will be limited to five minutes to make comments. When five or more persons represent a group, one person should be appointed to present their views. Copies of presentations should be made available to all trustees and the superintendent.  Board policy prohibits the discussion of complaints against District employees during an open forum.

11.1. Adjourn to Closed Session pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074, Personnel, to deliberate regarding the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee; or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee, specifically to include: A full-time Superintendent; Associate Superintendent, Business and Finance; and Associate Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction;  551.071, Consultation with the Board's Attorney.

12.3. Consideration and Possible Action Regarding the Selection of a Full-Time Superintendent

Consider and act upon adoption of a resolution determining a public necessity to acquire certain real property in fee simple for public use by eminent domain for the purpose of, among other things, construction and operation of an official determination to acquire property for the purchase of the real property in fee simple; authorizing the Superintendent to establish procedures for acquiring the property in fee simple; offering to acquire the real property in fee simple from the Landowner(s) through the making of bona fide offers; authorizing the use of eminent domain to condemn, appropriating funds; providing for repealing, savings and severability clauses; and providing for an effective date.

Consider and act upon adoption of a resolution authorizing the Superintendent to execute an Unimproved Property Contract between Mansfield Independent School District and Dan Woods, trustee of A. Jay Woods and Dena W. Woods, RTLA, for the purchase of approximately 27 acres of land in Tarrant County in the J. Russell Survey, Abstract Number 1278, and authorizing the Superintendent to take all actions necessary to effectuate the terms thereof.
