I. Call to Order and Determination of Quorum

II. This meeting is being held in accordance by order of Governor Greg Abbott’s Executive Order on May 6, 2020. These modifications are necessary to promote the health and safety of the Garland ISD community, and to comply with governmental orders limiting gatherings to 25 percent capacity or less individuals, as well as guidance from health authorities.

III. Public Forum: The Board will now hear those who wish to make comments and who have completed and returned the Public Comment Participation Request. This section will be conducted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act and Board Policy. Speakers must limit comments to issues that can be presented in a public forum and are directly related to the posted and noticed agenda items. Complaints about student discipline, specific student issues or personnel must be addressed through appropriate administrative channels.

X.A.
