9.1. Adopt Resolution Relating to the Election of School Board Members and Calling the School District General Election
Description:
In 2026 three seats are up for the November 3, 2026 general election: those currently held by Jill Christenson, Curt Rebelein, Jr., Vacant Seat To meet the legal timelines, the School Board needs to pass a resolution calling the school district general election. Filing dates for the open seats are July 14 to July 28, 2026 with withdrawals allowed until 5:00 pm July 30, 2026. In order to arrange for the timely printing of ballots, county auditors must be notified of the final candidate names and filings by August 11, 2026.
Recommended Motion(s):
Administration recommends adopting the Resolution Calling the 2026 General Election.

9.2. Award Dishwasher Bid
Description:
To comply with the bid laws and to obtain the best possible pricing, the District bid dishwashers for installation next school year. The scope of work will include Linwood Elementary, Education Center and Columbus Elementary. A bid announcement was published in the Pioneer Press. The bid opening took place on May 20th. The lowest bidder was Rak Construction at $473,248 and $8,607 for the alternate.
Recommended Motion(s):
Administration recommends awarding the bid to Rak Construction in the amount of $481,855.

9.3. Award Maintenance Building Bid
Description:
To comply with the bid laws and to obtain the best possible pricing, the District bid LTFM work at the Maintenance Building. The engineering firm for this work will be ISG, Inc. and, because of the small scope of the project, District Personnel will serve as construction manager. The scope of work will include roofing, sprinkler system and heating/cooling system. A bid announcement was published in the Pioneer Press. The bid opening took place on May 12th. The lowest bidder was Ebert Construction at $1,423,000.

9.4. Award Dental Bid
Description:
At the March 5th School Board Meeting, the Board granted permission to bid Dental Plans. Bids were advertised in the Pioneer Press and due March 30th. Five bids were received. Delta Dental proposed a $5.50 Admin fee per member per month with a rate guarantee of 24 months.
Recommended Motion(s):
Administration recommends awarding the Dental bid to Delta Dental.
