2. TEA - District Vulnerability Audit

Overview of the 2025 DVA
Discussion of the DVA Report and findings.
Discussion on a Corrective Action plan and timeline to be completed within 120 days from receiving the DVA report. (Chief Leber & Lt. Self)

3. EOP Facility and Communication Annex Update

Required verbiage addition buildings D-(AG Shop), G-(Robotics),H-( Auto Shop),J-(Multi-Purpose) to include approval for gates/barrier for ventilation purposes.
Communication — Additional verbiage to include district expectations that staff and substitutes maintain access to their cell phone or mobile device capable of calling 911 at all times. (Chief Leber & Lt. Self)

4. Update on First Responder Walkthroughs.

The implementation of the “High Five Friday” & and “DPS Highway Heroes" walkthrough initiatives.
Review feedback from previous walkthroughs (Chief Leber)

5. Purchases & upcoming projects

Purchase update on Emergency Preparedness books purchased from GCC - Funded by Safety Grant.
Purchase and Contract with CRG Digital mapping - 80% Funded by ATCOG.
Purchase of Command Go Kits.
Discussion on purchasing TxSSC Reunification Cards.
Discussion about purchasing a Raptor visitor management kiosk for SSHS, SSES, SSMS, BBP, Douglas.
Project update on the teacher entrance safety vestibule at SSHS (during Christmas break).
Update on Verkada Camera system, training, and functionality.
Discussion and consideration of AAC perimeter fencing.
Purchase of TEA required Breaching Tools
Discussion on new ISD phone system(Chief Leber)

6. Reminder of required Psychological First Aid (PFA)

PFA required training for Safety and Security Committee members.

7. Assignment of DAR (District Audit Report) teams

Discussion on the Parent, Student, and Staff Safety Survey to be sent out.
Assign Teams and Campus DAR team assignments.
Plan dates for each team to conduct their assigned campus DAR
Issue teams DAR notebooks. Discussion and training on the DAR team procedures and completion of DAR paperwork.
