6.A. Approval of the snow plow bid from Prorath Contracting Inc. as presented.

6.B. We are asking for Board Approval to purchase a new freezer at Collins Elementary.  The current freezer is over 25 years old and the cost to repair it is approximately $6,000.  With a new, larger freezer available for $8,665 (freezer, parts, labor, warranty, etc...), we think that it makes sense to buy this unit instead of repairing the current one.  The vendor, Lewis Bros, has worked with HLCS in the past and is the preferred vendor of our Food Service Dept.  Recommending the approval of the purchase of a freezer from Lewis Bros for Collins Elementary as presented.
