5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: The public is invited to address the Board on items not listed on the agenda. No action may be taken on any subject raised during public comment until the matter has been properly placed on an agenda for a properly noticed meeting pursuant to NRS 241 (Nevada’s Open Meeting Law). 
If you wish to speak please step up to the front table, be seated, and state your name. Your comments must be limited to no more than three minutes and must fall under subjects within the Board’s jurisdiction and control. In consideration of others avoid repetition. Although this Board does not restrict comments based upon viewpoint, comments will be prohibited if the contents are willfully disruptive, slanderous, amount to personal attacks or interfere with the rights of other speakers. Comments made during this time will be monitored by the Board Chairperson.

6.A. Review and discussion of summer 2018 facility improvements.

6.A.1. Presentation by CORE Construction on status of single point of entry projects and other safety and security upgrades. Slide presentation.

6.A.2. Presentation by LCSD on facility related projects throughout the district.

6.B. Review and discussion of the Lyon County master plan.

6.C. Review and discussion of the City of Fernley master plan.

6.D. Review and discussion of enrollment and school capacity, bond expenditures by area, bonding capacity, and general LCSD financial information.

6.E. Review and discussion of the LCSD 2016 master facility plan.

6.F. Review and discussion of the feasibility study for the Fernley attendance area.

6.G. Review and discussion of the general facility needs in LCSD with a specific emphasis on the Fernley attendance area.

7. (FOR POSSIBLE ACTION) Discussion and possible action of future agenda items.
