Description:  This special meeting is called to order under the Revised School Code (MCL 380.614) for the purpose of electing members to the Wexford-Missaukee ISD Board of Education. Each constituent district has appointed a representative to serve as part of the electoral body."

Description:  The chair announces the vacancies:

"At this time, the electoral body will vote to fill the following seat(s) on the ISD Board of Education:

Three (3) seats, each for a six-year term, beginning July 1, 2025, and expiring June 30, 2031.

Candidates who were properly nominated by petition and certified by the ISD’s election coordinator are listed on the official ballot provided to each district’s representative. Each constituent district may cast one vote per seat.

As required by law, each representative must vote according to their constituent board’s resolution on the first ballot for each vacancy. If no candidate receives a majority, subsequent ballots will be cast, and representatives may then vote at their own discretion. We will now proceed with the election."
