I. CALL TO ORDER

II. ORAL - Individuals desiring to address the Board regarding an item on an Agenda for an Open Meeting must sign up to speak prior to the 7:00 PM session. Forms are available in the lobby area.

III. CLOSED SESSION
The Board will declare itself in a closed meeting as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Sections 551.001 - 551.146.  In the event a closed meeting is to be convened, the presiding officer shall publicly identify the section or sections authorizing the closed meeting.  Those sections may include, without limitation, the following sections under SUBCHAPTER D AND E, which authorize a closed meeting to discuss the following topics: 

III.A. Section 551.071:  For the purpose of private consultation with the Boards' attorney and all subjects or matters authorized by law. To consult with the District's attorney, in person or by phone, on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the District under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, including the appeal of the discipline of a public school child.

III.B. Section 551.082:  For the purpose of conducting a meeting to deliberate in a case involving an appeal of the discipline of a public school child.

III.C. Section 551.0821:  For the purpose of conducting a meeting to deliberate a matter regarding a public school student if personally identifiable information about the student will necessarily be revealed by the deliberation.

IV. DECLARE CLOSED MEETING ENDED AND RECONVENE IN OPEN MEETING

IV.A. Consider and take action on student appeal matter.
