Description:
The Rationale for the Award: On May 1, 2024, the NOVA HVAC Project bids were released and made available to interested bidders. On Tuesday, June 11, 2024 bids were received and during the week of June 17, 2024 bid interviews were conducted with the lowest responsible bidders. Construction Trade Costs $ 8,279,351.20* Owner Contingency Cost (10%) $ 827,935.12 CM Fee (2.85%) $ 235,961.51 Alternate A - HVAC at Michigan Works! $270,785.00 Total Award Recommendation Amount- $9,614,032.83 Alternate A is being asked for Board approval as a placeholder at this time. When and if contingency monies are remaining from other bond projects, we will evaluate the funding available and determine if Alternate A can be completed.
