Ryan.

We currently have a total of 62 cameras on campus. 41 interior and 21
exterior.

A majority of the interior cameras are what I would consider low to very
low resolution. The others are OK, but not high resolution.

On the exterior, we have a number of cameras with OK resolution, but their
lenses have started to fade or get cloudy, which leads to reduced
visibility, in some it's pretty severe.

With future replacements in mind, I've spoken with the principals and
determined that some changes and possible additions would benefit us in
coverage, inside and out.

I did get an initial quote from SEi for 20 interior Axis cameras, and
Kidwell for 20 Avigilon cameras. Both are what industry would consider
premium branded cameras, but different models come with different features
and quality. From the initial quote of 20 interior cameras, the SEi/Axis
cameras were $7000 cheaper. This wasn't even an apples to apples, since the
Avigilon ones are without built in analytics.

The plan would to buy box only, no installation from a vendor. Matt and I
would take care of the system change and camera swap outs.

I just replaced the recording server this winter, so that's not needed and
should last us roughly 7 years, unless additional storage would be needed
in the future.

We're looking at roughly $70,000 for a full swap of 62 cameras, plus 5 new
camera locations, 2 of which would be for the football field and back
parking lot that had been discussed previously.

There would need to be some more tweaking to camera type and counts once we
decide how/when we'll go about this, but this will get us really close.
